Transtherm Team Raise Funds for Local Hospice
During May 2011, Karl Sturdy, Transtherm’s Workshop Supervisor, led a team of enthusiastic Transtherm staff in their bid to become champions of ‘It’s A Knockout’ in order to raise money for a local organisation, The Mary Ann Evans Hospice, who offer care and support to patients with life limiting illnesses and their families.
The day was a great deal of fun and the various teams helped to raise thousands of pounds to go towards many of the vital services offered by the hospice.
The Transtherm team were pleased to finish in second place and hope to go one better in 2012.
